Clark Eide, host of Journey to the Heart of Life, built his podcast to help listeners explore spirituality in everyday life. Each short episode offers a few minutes of reflection, drawing from Clark’s own experience and insights from his novels The Abbey Chronicles. His goal: to help people develop greater awareness of their physical and spiritual selves.
But when it came to building a website for the show, Clark found that traditional tools slowed him down.
Finding the right fit
Before switching to Podpage, Clark managed websites for his band using Bandzoogle. While the platform worked well for musicians, it didn’t quite fit the needs of his podcast.
“I had some long discussions with them, but it never really fit exactly,” Clark explained. “Then I did some research, and Podpage came up among some others. When I saw how easy it was to establish the website—because I have built websites before, and they take a long time—I knew it was the right fit.”
Saving time with automation
Clark publishes Journey to the Heart of Life through Buzzsprout and loves how seamlessly Podpage syncs new episodes.
“Podpage is great because it’ll search for those new podcasts regularly, every few minutes, and it’s just been seamless,” he said. “When I’m done uploading to Buzzsprout, I know it’s going to appear on the site.”
The integration saves hours of manual work each week, letting Clark focus on what matters most—recording new reflections and connecting with listeners.
Support that actually supports
In addition to the automation and simplicity, Clark highlighted Podpage’s customer support as a major advantage.
“The customer support at Podpage is superb. They get back to me, they actually answer my question, and sometimes they illustrate it with a handy YouTube video—which is great for guys like me,” he said. “And the price is right. You guys don’t overcharge for what you do.”
Built for creators, not web developers
For Clark, the biggest benefit has been the time saved. Instead of spending hours tweaking web pages, he can focus on writing, recording, and producing his show.
“There’s very little you need to know to be successful with Podpage,” he said. “It’s a very complete website. A big plus for me.”
