I'm not sure what it is about the past two weeks, but a ton of cards have increased their welcome offers. I'm still not as excited about them as I am about the 90k offer on the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card, because I prefer transferrable points. That said, if you're familiar with any of the programs below and have been thinking about a new card, the offers below might be interesting. And always, you can find the full list of best card offers on our Best Cards Page.
Marriott
I've long been a fan of Marriott points, because the chain has so many amazing luxury hotels all over the world (e.g. St Regis, Ritz Carlton, Luxury Collection). Despite some recent de-valuations, there are plenty of deals to be had across the Marriott portfolio, so if you're familiar enough with the program to maximize it, these two elevated offers could be interesting to you.
- Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card: Best-ever offer of 125k points after $5k spend in 3 months.
- Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card: 5 Free Nights (up to 50k points each) after $8k spend in 6 months.
Hilton
After Hilton partnered with Small Luxury Hotels, we booked an incredible stay at Cap Rocat on our recent Europe trip with Hilton points that saved us $10k+. Ever since then, we've gotten a lot more excited about earning Hilton cards and Free Night Certificates (which you can earn with the first two cards below).
Note: All information about the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card have been collected independently by Chris Hutchins. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
- Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card: 130k points after $3k spend in 6 months.
- Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card: 175k points after $6k spend in 6 months.
- Hilton Honors American Express Card: 100k points after $2k spend in 6 months.
- The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card: 175k miles after $8k spend in 6 months.
Delta
In addition to the elevated offers, these cards all also come with 15% off Delta award bookings and a free checked bag. The Platinum/Reserve cards also help you earn MQDs towards Delta status. These are great perks if you fly Delta regularly or could even make sense if you have an upcoming trip.
- Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card: 80k miles after $3k spend in 6 months.
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card: 90k miles after $4k spend in 6 months.
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card: 100k miles after $6k spend in 6 months.
- Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card: 90k miles after $6k spend in 6 months.
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card: 100k miles after $8k spend in 6 months.
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card: 100k Bonus Miles after $12k spend in 6 months.
IHG
This best-ever offer is a great option, especially because IHG points don't often make sense as a way to use transferrable points. That said, you can often buy them for ~$0.50/each, so consider this bonus worth ~$1000.
- IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card: Best-ever offer of up to 200k points, 140k after $4k spend in 3 months + 60k after $9k total spend in 6 months.
Southwest
While the Southwest business card bonuses dropped, two personal card bonuses went up, which should give you a nice head start towards earning companion pass for up to 2 years.
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card: 85k points after $3k spend in 3 months.
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card: 85k points after $3k spend in 3 months.
Avios
While there are plenty of good uses for Avois, they're a transfer partner of every transferrable points program and often have transfer bonuses, so I'm less excited about these cards. That said, if you're a regular on any of the airlines or have a specific use case for Avios, they could make sense to explore.
- Aer Lingus Visa Signature® Card: 85k Avios after spending $5k in 3 months.
- British Airways Visa Signature® Card: 85k Avios after spending $5k in 3 months.
- Iberia Visa Signature® Card: 85k Avios after spending $5k in 3 months
